In case you guys didn't already know, someone has gone and created a mod which lifts the censor from Australian versions of the game and makes the game the way it should be played.

While this fix only works with the demo at present, expect an update not long after the full game is released.

Watch this space for more details.

Halloween Special

TF2 has just been graced by another major (?) update to celebrate Halloween.

Included in the update are a couple more hats, a handful of achievements and a new community map.

But the most lucrative aspect of the update is the mega price deduction. Until tomorrow TF2 is only $2.49! (That's cheaper than S.T.A.L.K.E.R!). Buy it and revel in its awesomeness.

http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/60733

Apparently Valve has reeled in Dota's key developer who now has his own team to lead in a move he coined "great news for dota fans and its future".

Quote:I have some really awesome news I'd like to share with you guys. I am now leading a team at Valve! I finally have all the resources needed to do some very exciting stuff that you guys will love. I look forward to revealing more specific details when the time is right.

The Team Update

http://guarddog.50webs.com/

Apparently Valve are planning on adding another support class to the game in the form of the 'Guard Dog' inspired by a user-created idea.

Mixed feelings about this one, but all in all it seems like an interesting concept of a class.

However this update could very well be a spy/joke as well.

A Sandvich Update

Just a minor TF2 update today but a really awesome one in my opinion.

The Sandvich now heals a Heavy to full health and is now droppable.

This means that when dropped, the sandvich acts as a medium medikit for healing the Heavy on the run or saving a dying teammate.

Also in an attempt to nerf the Medic's blutsaughter, Valve have unintentionally buffed it.

The Classless Update

The next TF2 update won't focus on a specific class with Valve instead opting to give every class a slight tweak.

So far this means 18 new hats.

hopefully this means a higher chance of actually getting one!!

And a new arena map with more content to follow in the coming days.

Also, this hidden link may confirm the Solider is the next class update or perhaps even included in this one? : http://www.teamfortress.com/classless/hidden/enigmatical/ ...
